& Santa Claus Parade

One Giant Tree & 18,000 Lights
The 2018 Tree Lighting Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, November 17th and is the official kick off to the 2018 Noella Festival presented by Meridian Credit Union. This year’s event is one for the books as it is the inaugural year of the 30ft Christmas Tree at Meridian Place.
The fun begins at 3:30pm with face-painting, an outdoor movie, free Tim Hortons hot chocolate, live music and more! The Barrie Chamber of Commerce Santa Claus Parade leaves Tiffin Street and Lakeshore Road at 5pm and will roll through our downtown shortly thereafter.
More fun awaits afterwards at Meridian Place with visits with Santa, the official tree lighting, fireworks, the incredible Rotary Festival of Trees displays and more!
On Saturdays starting November 24th through to December 15th, head to Meridian Place for the Festive Tree Lot & Market, live music and visits with Santa. This is going to be a memorable Christmas!
The Noella Festival continues until December 16th with festive window displays and Holly Days.
