The official Grand Openings for Meridian Place & Memorial Square are scheduled for Friday, June 29th. At 10:30am, head down to Memorial Square and watch as sacred soil from Vimy Ridge is laid to rest, witness WWII aircraft flybys, and reflect on the history of the space as it officially opens to the public.
Meridian Place Grand Opening | 5:00PM
At 5:00pm, celebrations begin at the Meridian Place grand opening with ribbon cutting, cake cutting, live music and more. Kicking off the beginning of Promenade Days, this is sure to set the stage for the high level of energy that will flow throughout the rest of the weekend.
